One of Ireland’s hottest new emerging pop artists MICAH has just recently released her highly anticipated new single ‘Take Me Away’ . Ireland is known for it’s immense talent when it comes to music and it has plenty of women who are certainly killing it in the Irish music scene recently, MICAH is definitely one of those artists you need to keep your eyes and ears on! This girl knows how to make a sick track that’s the perfect end of summer pop anthem.
‘Take Me Away’ is a song about falling in love even if it’s not the right time, place or situation…something a lot of us can relate to, right ladies? We’ve definitely all been there with a summer romance! It’s also about giving into this experience utterly. It is the most perfect and effortless end of summer pop anthem with a very upbeat melody and Micah’s strong powerful vocals taking centre stage which immediately captivates the listener. The chorus is also extremely catchy which makes the track an irresistible listen. The song is flawless from start to finish filled with so much emotion.

MICAH explains the story on the track “Everyone around you has their own input as to why it didnt work, so you conceal your love and heartbreak. However, later on you two reconnect, or the stars align and fall back into that passionate embrace“.
Having been hugely inspired by the likes of Halsey, The 1975, Sia and Swedish singer Loren (to name a few!) MICAH uses these influences to create the most wonderful blend to find her own distinctive sound. She is a total powerhouse when it comes to singing and proves that she’s one of Ireland’s emerging pop acts to watch out for having just dropped such a strong new release! Apparently her next release is going to be even bigger and better… we look forward to hearing it!
