Yes, you heard it here first. I love football.
Let me be honest here, I used to absolutely despise football. The thought it would make my brain hurt, partly because I didn’t understand the rules and because I didn’t want to seem like I was trying too hard for male attention if I admitted I even enjoyed it slightly. But now a few years later, I’m hooked.
I attended every EURO 2020 game at Wembley this year and I loved it. From the Staff to the DJ’S to the die-hard fans that made the whole experience unforgettable. Whether you’re in the nosebleed seats or in Club Wembley, you’re guaranteed to have a good time.
Being in a stadium with 60,000+ people after being in lockdown for a year made my heart feel full. As strange as it sounds, I’ve missed being in a crowd of people all sweating on each other! I like how no matter what team you support football does bring people together and the community surrounding it is something that makes events like this great.
The atmosphere, players and fans were ultimately what won me over. When we said “It’s Coming Home”, we didn’t say when. Bring on the World Cup.
